Making Meaning: Conversations on Society and Culture
We are very excited about our Winter course which is completely organized by and run by Queen’s University Graduate students. You can access details about each week of the course here.

Unfortunately the speaker cannot make it in time for class today due to the train derailment in Kingston. All the buses that aren’t full won’t get her here until after 8:00 p.m. We will see about the possibility of rescheduling the class – so please check the website. This is just a reminder that there will be no class next Monday February 19th due to reading week. Classes will resume the following week on Monday February 26th with Sylvat Aziz on The political economy of the hijab.
Unfortunately the speaker has been detained due to a snowstorm and as a result class will be canceled on Monday February 5th. Stay tuned for more information about the possibility of rescheduling the class.

The upcoming Winter Term course, titled What is Women’s Studies? will open for registration on Monday, January 8th, at 9 am.
