The Politics of Food: Making Choices, Taking Action

A free non-credit course examining our complex relationship with food, addressing issues of global and local relevance including food: safety and governance, vegetarianism philosophy and practice, GMSOs, pesticides, organic food, community gardening, and food and poverty. The emphasis will be on practical ways that individuals and communities can address concerns related to food supply and distribution.
