The following section contains information on how to make the most of the Free Queen’s web site by taking advantage of some of the interactive features such as subscribing to RSS feeds to keep up to date on course news and commenting on blog posts.

Commenting

Comments are a great way to keep the conversation going. Anyone can comment on a post and in order to do so your name and email address must be provided at the time of commenting. Your email address is used for administrative purposes only and will not be displayed on the page or anywhere else on the site.

To comment on a post:

  1. From the News page, click on the title of the post. This will open up the full post in the window.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the post until you see the “Leave a Reply” heading. Here you will be see a place to enter your name and email address (required) and a large comment box for your comment.
  3. When you have finished typing in your comment, hit the Submit button. You comment will appear under the “Response” heading. If it does not appear immediately, it is possible that it is being held for moderation (which is used to prevent spam) and will appear once a site administrator has approved the comment.

To view the comments on a post:

  1. From the News page, click on the Comments link below title of the post. This will open up the full post in the window and take you down to where all of the comments are for the post under the “Response” header.


Subscribing

You can subscribe to the RSS feed for the site using the following feed URL which is also accessible by clicking on the small orange RSS icon that is available throughout the site.
